Introducing the Aphrodite Top Collection
So the Aphrodite top collection has launched, how exciting. The first release includes 14 various fabrics all from the same style of top. The backless, crisscross feature adds a level of elegance I cannot describe, when worn the luxury feel is immediately felt. This collection was inspired by the ideas of capsule wardrobes, this idea of being able to mix and match and have staple versatile pieces really appealed to me, I want to help make the ‘I have nothing to wear whilst standing in front of a full wardrobe a thing of the past.
After so, so many designs a top similar to the one on my site today was founded. I fell in love with everything. Eventually, after toiles and lots of manufacturing processes nailed down this elegant piece was ready for production.
The hope of this top is to make you feel good. I want this top to represent a positive side of fashion, with timeless pieces that can be styled in so many ways they never need packing away for season changes. I love how this top can be layered, dressed up or down, but my favourite part about the top hands down is the rose quartz. Rose quartz chips are on the bottom of each strap and add a whole new level to this top. The use of rose quartz promotes self-love and helps to find love all around you. This crystal focuses heavily on compassion and feels it is something that is so heavily needed nowadays in the world.
My aim was to connect outer and inner love, I want to put the top on and the happiness to flow outwards. I don’t want people to dread shopping because of their sizes, it can have such a negative impact on our mental health, so no matter what size you pick the traditional number sizes is nowhere on my site and you’ll get to be empowered, thriving or worthy. The sides of the top have been curved to provide a better fit for a range of sizes and are great no matter what your body shape is. I wanted to please as many people as possible and not create something that is half ok, I wanted a new favourite wardrobe staple.
The many uses of the top not only are a plus for you, getting more for what you pay for but also great for the environment, meaning fewer fashion items are going to landfills and getting so much more wear out of them. If there is ever a point your style changes and you don’t wanna keep the top give it to a friend, charity shop or sell online, let’s make fashion more circular and slow fashion down.
